Tammy is the curator of Spirit Forest. She’s a vlogger making videos about the outdoors. Here’s the description from her YouTube page:
Building a cabin on my own land and teach my daughters survival skills, camping techniques, building fundamentals, and respect for outdoor life and adventures. I am an active backpacker and have had training in outdoor survival skills it is now time for me to teach my girls. I will push their limits, I will amaze them, I will aggravate them, I will make them use their minds, I will not only be their mom but their teacher. I plan on documenting this adventure through a video blog.
On this week’s show, we discuss why she wanted to create vlogs about her adventures in the outdoors, the pushback she gets for simply being a woman in this space, the challenges of content curation, why she wouldn’t want to be a full-time YouTuber, the television show Alone (which the producers tried to recruit her for) and a ton more. Tammy has created an interesting and well-crafted series that has earned positive praise from so many. You’ll enjoy hearing about her journey and the feedback she’s received from people she may not have expected.
Be sure to stay up to date on all of Tammy’s channels through her website, her YouTube page, her Instagram, her Facebook page, and her Etsy shop.
