Braden Dick is the co-founder of Mile High 100 (along with yours truly), the founder of Global Meeting Technologies, and one of my favorite people and best friends. His career has taken him all over the world, which means I only got to see him once in a blue moon, but he has recently re-located back to Denver, and I’m thrilled that I get to see my buddy on a regular basis.
And as long as we’re just hanging out, we might as well figure out a way to do some good while we’re at it, which is why we’re founding Mile High 100 together. The premise is simple. 100 people x $100 each = $10,000. We might once a quarter, listen to three charities give their best pitch, all of our members take a vote, and whoever wins the most votes, takes home all the money. The beer is free, the networking is brief and high level, and the impact is tremendous.
Our first event is Tuesday, August 15, at 5:30 pm at INDUSTRY, 3001 Brighton Blvd. Join us by signing up at the bottom of our website.
We also share some tales from the trenches of business travel and how to accumulate rewards points, the constant anxiety of entrepreneurship, some music we’ve been listening to recently, and a ton more. It’s a fun hour, and one you’ll be happy you listened to.
