Episode 50 is going to be a good one, you guys. Adam Cayton-Holland is our guest. This is an exciting episode for me as Adam Cayton-Holland is someone who’s been an inspiration to me for some time. The first thing I remember seeing him in was this video explaining the rules for Geek Bowl IV, and as soon as he said, “I’m Hugh Downs. I’m Barbara Walters, and this is…” I was in. I used to read him in the Westword, I followed him on Twitter, and I once nervously pondered whether to go up to him when I saw him at the place where we both got our haircut. I get into that in the episode…
The point is, it was a real thrill for me to get to bullshit with this dude in my basement in Park Hill, whom I’ve followed and admired for years. And he’s an awesome dude! In this week’s episode, we talk about the joke writing process, the experience of being on @Midnight, where his pilot Those Who Can’t stands, life on the road, baseball, and a ton more. It’s exactly what I’d hoped it would be, and I’m excited to present it as the landmark 50th episode of Jon of All Trades.
Plugs! Make sure to follow Adam on Twitter, check out his website Adam Is Freaking Out Right Now, listen to his podcast My Dining Room Table, (my personal favorite episode is TJ Miller), pre-order his album Backyards, and, if you exist in the real world, be sure to see Adam at one of his upcoming gigs.
And don’t miss the 50th episode of Jon of All Trades with the one, the only, Adam Cayton-Holland. It’s going to be a good one.
You can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, or, as always, on the Jon of All Trades homepage. See you Wednesday, March 4!
