Ryan Nee returns again this week to continue his conversation with Jon of All Trades about his world travels. When we left off last week, Ryan was describing visiting his brother Bill in Chile, and we pick up right there this week. We then venture through China, India, Vietnam, frickin’ North Korea, and take a couple of digressions to Rome, New York, and the, errr, exotic locales of Wichita, St. Louis, and Springfield, MO. This episode is jam-packed, and you won’t want to miss it. It premieres on Wednesday, February 18.
Some pre-reading for you as you approach the episode:
Be sure to peruse Ryan’s year-long travelogue of traveling all around the world. You can find that right here.
Also be sure to check out Ryan’s outstanding article about his trip to North Korea on Medium.com. I say it in the episode, and I’ll repeat it here: This is one of my favorite travel pieces I’ve ever read. Insightful, funny, poignant, and ultimately even-handed in discussing the most reclusive country in the world.
If you missed last week’s episode, you can find it here. If you missed my conversation about China with Ryan’s brother William, you can find that episode here. You can follow Ryan on Twitter. And you can download Jon of All Trades on iTunes and Stitcher.
