This week’s episode features an all-star of reality television. True, he’s not an on-screen talent, but he’s one of the many components that delivers many of your favorite entertainments right to you. Mike St. Hilaire is a freelance audio engineer who has worked on an incredibly broad assortment of reality programs. He started on the Disney Channel summer camp show “Bug Juice,” and from there, grew his television career to work on shows such as “Survivor,” “The Amazing Race,” “1,000 Places to See Before You Die,” “Lockup,” and so many more. Mike gives us insight into his long career across so many shows in a fun and loose chat.
Mike is a burgeoning stand-up comic, and he is performing this Wednesday, July 9th, at Bob DiBuono’s Character Flawed! If you’re in the New York area, check out the show. Mike also performs at open mics all throughout the city, so be sure to check him out.
And be sure to join us Wednesday, July 9th for Ep. 19 of the Jon of All Trades Podcast where Jon and Mike talk about working in reality television, stand up comedy, and, oddly enough, a bunch of Real World trivia.
