This week’s guest is Marc Leverette, auteur. I met Marc almost 10 years ago, and we hit it off almost immediately. He’s one of the most interesting and eccentric people I’ve ever known. Marc’s ostensible vocation is as a portrait photographer for Marc Leverette Photography and The Monkey Lab, but we end up talking about so much more. From Marc’s growing up in Florida and his start apprenticing for a local photographer to his working in a film lab that saw some – shall we say, interesting? – clients photo projects come through the door, to theories of cinema, to coping with loss, to handling depression, to understanding the very nature of life… this episode covers a ton of ground, and is one I’m immensely proud of.
