Dr. Marcy Willard is the founder of Clear Child Psychology. Clear Child Psychology partners with families to provide diagnostic assessments, clarity and a customized roadmap for supporting their unique child. Their goal is to free families from the burden of unknowing and to connect kids with the help they need to find their own path to happiness.
She also created an app called CADEY. What is CADEY? In their own words, “Parenting is tough. Parenting kids with diverse needs like learning issues, ADHD, or autism, is even tougher. Want to help your child with coping skills, mindfulness, or academics? Perhaps you know what to do but aren’t sure how to do it. Life will get better.”
On this return of the Jon of All Trades Podcast, Dr. Willard shares her unique journey of transitioning from software sales into pursuing her PhD in psychology with the ambitious goal of help 1 million people. Thanks to the development of this app, she has surpassed that goal and continues to aim even higher. We talk about parenting, mental health, personal fulfillment, self-actualization, and a ton more in a wide-ranging and free-flowing chat. Dr. Willard is an absolute pro, and she and Jon get into a great flowstate.
