Stacey and Josh Davis (pictured) are the Co-Founders of JAD’s Mile High Smoke, the first Cannabis Bar in Colorado. What is that? It’s just like any other bar, except you order cannabis products instead of alcohol products. Cool, right? Josh and Stacey certainly think so as they’re the very first ones to establish such a place and are thus dealing with all of the headaches that come with being first.

I took a trip up there (I did not indulge in any of their products as I was both driving and wanting to conduct a high quality interview), and the place is very cool. It feels like any other bar you love in look, vibe, and and experience, except that they have an abundance of marijuana products for you to buy and consume. It’s hard to believe such a concept hasn’t existed until now, but there you go. On this week’s episode we talk all about the difference between them and dispensaries, the uncertain regulatory environment they constantly deal with, their focus on safety and compliance, and weed culture in general. It’s fascinating, and I know you’ll enjoy it.

Please note there was some ambient noise during this recording because I wanted it to feel like you’re there with me. Therefore, sometimes the volume is a little bit erratic.

You can find JAD’s at their website. In real life at 7667 Washington St. Denver, CO 80229. And you can call them at 303.993.5760.
