Susie Wargin is someone I’ve been listening to since I was 16 years old when I first heard her doing middays on KBPI. She hooked me. She was my favorite DJ, and she was a definite bright spot as I slogged through some shitty jobs during the summers. After going to college (and harboring a misplaced grudge against corporate radio, man) I reconnected with Susie’s work as she joined the 9News morning team. I’ve always enjoyed the warmth, diligence, intelligence and good humor she brings to her work, and I’m not surprised she’s thriving in real estate now, too as an agent with RE/MAX Alliance.
Here’s how she describes her approach to real estate on her own website SusieWargin.com:
“We feel like we are your only clients.” Those are the best words I can hear from my clients, and thankfully those words are said often. My approach involves a lot of listening because every client has different needs, not only for housing but also for communicating, scheduling and understanding/learning the real estate process.
On this week’s show we talk about her journey into radio, the evolution from rock to sports, the interesting and unusual way she got into 9News, the challenges of a lifestyle in television news, and her current full time gig as a realtor. It’s a lively chat filled with insight, lots of laughs, and so much fun. As I note a few times, Susie is an absolute ray of sunshine, and you’re going to adore this conversation.
Be sure to check out Susie at her website. And you can listen to her middays on 103.5 The Fox via their website.
