Dan Knudson and Mike Anderson are the principals at Dan Knudson Productions, a Denver-based commercial photography and videography business. I actually hired Dan and Mike to shoot some work for my day job, and they have continued to serve as my go-to guys for all of my photography and videography needs. They reliably produce higher quality stuff than anyone I have ever worked with, and you can find a sampling of their work here.
In this episode, we cover all the shop talk we normally do, but what sets this episode apart is its vibe. It’s one of the more laid back chats I’ve ever had, and if you’re into 3 dudes hanging out and enjoying chatting with one another, this is your podcast. Among other things, we talk about how Mike went through some serious shit in his life, and how Dan talked him through it and got him into yoga. We wonder who was the MLB pitcher who tossed a no-hitter high on acid? The answer turns out to be Dock Ellis in 1970. And then we ask who the two pitchers were that switched families? Literally, they traded wives, kids, and pets and lived their lives that way. That answer is Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson, and this article is a fascinating look at that story. We talk about beer cap art, Mike and Dan’s casual wardrobe choices and a whole lot more.
It’s just a really fun and chill episode that I think you’ll enjoy listening to. Do so at iTunes, Stitcher, or below.
