This week’s guest is Jarrod Perrott, owner of FastFrame of LoDo. Locally owned and operated, FastFrame of LoDo provides custom picture framing in Denver. They’re located on 15th Street in the heart of Historic Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo). Jon sits down with Jarrod and while they talk some about framing, the bulk of this week’s episode is geared around talking about small business ownership in general, the importance of good customer service, connecting in your local community, and much, much more.
Also on this week’s show, Jon talks about Jarrod’s experience directing indie movie Face Eater shortly after college, how he came to own his own business at the age of 29, how he’s cultivated relationships with the sports teams around town, and his interactions with the Colorado Rockies. At one point in 2012, Jarrod sent a letter to Dick Monfort to talk about the team, and I think you’ll be surprised by what transpired next.
The episode premieres on Wednesday, December 10. You can download it on iTunes, stream it on Stitcher, or listen at the Jon of All Trades homepage.
