It’s Kyle Gass! From Tenacious D! What else do you need me to write here? Just click on the episode and listen to it!

Alright, I suppose I should mention that Kyle is here at Denver Film Festival 40 supporting his excellent movie Gnaw, in which he’s terrific. Here’s a brief synopsis:

“Jennifer Conrad is a small-town girl starting over in the big city. Fleeing an abusive relationship, all she wants is a chance to begin again. But it’s hard to start over when something is eating you while you sleep… one painful bite at a time.”

It’s a frightening movie, extremely well put-together, and a lot of fun to watch. You can also check out the film’s official Facebook page.

We spend some time talking about the film, but we also spend a ton of time talking about Tenacious D, the projects that keep Kyle busy like The Kyle Gass Band, how working in the entertainment industry makes you something of a permanent freelancer, and how the Official Tenacious D Cumrag played a role in me meeting my wife.

Kyle is such a cool guy, is extremely engaging and friendly, and getting to do this show was an enormous pleasure, and a huge thrill.
