Aditya Varanasi is the CEO of Awarity, a company that offers world-class advertising at affordable prices. They utilize banner ads on the most highly trafficked websites in the world and utilize connected TV all targeted by zip code to ensure businesses of all sizes are supercharging their marketing efforts.
Before founding Awarity, Aditya was a chemical engineer by schooling, but when he found himself working for Frito-Lay, he was fascinated by the marketing process. So this episode is sort of a two-fer in that we get insight into one of the biggest companies in the world and how they conduct focus groups, and, notably, how they formulate a new product and all the processes that go into bringing it to market. Think about a product like Lays STAX (which he worked on extensively), which requires new product design, container design, marketing, positioning and tons more. Incredible insight here.
