Jessica French and Damien Zouaoui are the husband and wife team who created The Beer Spa, and seem to have given their lives over to it entirely based on their incredible dedication to getting it off the ground and ensuring everyone has an optimal experience. With our one-of-a-kind spa and wellness experiences, we strive to be the best spa in Denver. Our beer therapy sessions are made for both men and women, as well as for couples or singles, who are in need of relaxation and de-stressing.
As a recent patron of The Beer Spa (Ed. note: I was not compensated for my visit, and actually booked this interview after finishing my session with my wife there.), I can tell you this was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had in a long time. The beers come from a local craft brewery, the staff is friendly, helpful and attentive, and the experience itself is phenomenal. You start in the infrared sauna, hop into a cool shower, and then slip into a warm bath infused with hops, barley, and other elements that are not only relaxing, but great for the skin and your mental well-being.
I mean, you’re in your little private room butt naked relaxing in a spa with a beer in your hand. What’s not to love?
Jessica and Damien are an absolute joy to talk to, and this episode is as fun as it is informative. I loved learning about their custom plumbing work in partnership with Kohler, hearing about how insane immediate demand crashed their booking system, and marveling at their 100+ hour work weeks to make this thing a success. You’ll love it, too.
