In honor of Labor Day, I launch a new feature: First Jobs.

On Mondays of each week, I’ll ask my guests what their first job was (or maybe it’ll be a different question, who knows!), and share with you their answers in a brief audio clip hyping this week’s show. It’s a fun way of introducing my guests, and first jobs are inherently fascinating to me.

So, first up is Eric Yochim, Founder of Two Rivers Coffee. Listen in as he shares the story of becoming an 11 year-old maintenance man for his church. I could not have picked a more amusing way of starting this series.
